ABOUT
The most well-known area of Dallas, Uptown is widely considered to be one of the trendiest neighborhoods, with bars and restaurants to fit every budget, taste and occasion. Apartments in this area can be pricier than some of the other Dallas neighborhoods, but the convenience and proximity to shopping and entertainment options are well worth the extra cost.
If you’re looking for an area where you can easily walk to everything you need, including Whole Foods, coffee shops and restaurants, Uptown is your best bet. It’s also the perfect spot for bar hopping and Dallas’ favorite team sport: brunch. You’ll find us on the patio of State and Allen on Sundays, running a marathon on their build-your-own mimosa & bloody mary bars.
Our personal favorite spot in Uptown is Mutt’s Canine Cantina. This dog park (and bar/restaurant!) has separate fenced-in areas for large and small dogs, with plenty of shade for pups and seating for owners. They serve up delicious cocktails and food, including treats for your dog. Pro tip: their frozen cocktails make even the hottest Dallas day enjoyable.
